This Jeep Wrangler TJ came in fully Built. The owner wanted to add Lighting and a tough stereo system that could handle rain and mud when he goes wheeling with the top off. Space was very limited, so we had to get creative on equipment placement.
We installed Rockford’s compact Digital Marine series Amplifiers under the passenger seat along with a capacitor. The speakers were replaced with rockford’s marine series components. We molded 2 custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosures on each side of the rear bench seat, just deep enough for a pair of Stage 3 shallow 10” woofers.
The entire sound system occupied almost 0 usable space and 2 people can still sit comfortably in the back bench. We dropped in a Fresh Optima Yellow top battery and added 4D Hybrid LED bar and mini cubes all around. The result is one tough jeep that sounds as good as is looks.
